01 What you are buying
Every engagement produces a written document: a dated, referenced interpretation built from the birth data and business facts you supply. Where you have purchased a Working Session or an Observation Day, those are delivered in addition to the document.
The document is the deliverable. It is the thing you are paying for, and it is complete when it is delivered to you in full.
What the fee does not buy
- Any specific business result, revenue figure, hire, deal, or outcome.
- Any guarantee that a described pattern will occur, or occur on schedule.
- Agreement with the findings. Interpretation you dislike is still interpretation delivered.
- Ongoing advisory access outside the scope purchased.
02 What this work is not
29 Degrees provides interpretive consulting and decision support. It is not legal, financial, investment, accounting, tax, medical, psychological, psychiatric, or human-resources advice, and it is not a substitute for the licensed professionals who provide those services.
Findings, friction tables, and timing windows are analytical interpretation offered to inform your judgment. No business outcome is promised or guaranteed. Decisions made during or after any engagement, and the results of those decisions, remain entirely yours.
03 This is not an employment instrument
Reports are prepared for the principal's strategic judgment. Every prescription is written as a change to process, sequence, or decision rights, and applies to a role regardless of who occupies it.
You agree that you will not use any part of a 29 Degrees document as the sole or determining basis for hiring, termination, promotion, demotion, compensation, discipline, or any other employment decision affecting any individual. No document produced here may be placed in an employee's personnel file.
Because a chart is not a performance review and must never be used as one. If you intend to use this work that way, do not buy it. This term survives the end of the engagement.
04 The data you give me
The method requires facts: an incorporation date, and the birth dates and birthplaces of the people whose dynamics you want read.
You warrant that
- You have the right to provide every piece of data you send, including data about people other than yourself.
- You have told those individuals, or are otherwise permitted, that their birth data is being shared for this purpose.
- You will not use the resulting document in any way prohibited by clause 03.
Accuracy
Findings are calculated from what you provide. Wrong data produces wrong findings, and that is not grounds for a refund. Where no birth time is recorded, time-dependent points are set aside rather than estimated, and this is stated in the document.
What I do with it
I use your data to produce your document. I do not sell it, publish it, or share it with anyone. Intake submissions and completed documents are retained so that findings remain checkable, and are deleted on written request.
05 When the work begins
Work begins at the moment you submit your intake form, and the timestamp on that submission is the record. Not when you pay, not when I open the file.
For a Working Session or an Observation Day, work begins when a date is agreed in writing between us.
This matters because it is the line that decides refunds, and it is a line neither of us has to argue about.
06 Payment
Fees are quoted and charged in US dollars and are payable in full before work begins, through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by me. Fees do not include any applicable taxes, which are added where required.
Travel and lodging for an Observation Day beyond driving distance are billed at cost, evidenced by receipts, and invoiced separately from the engagement fee.
07 Refunds and cancellation

Why the line sits where it sits
The document is prepared to order for one company and cannot be resold or reused. Once the calculation and interpretation are underway, the time is spent whether or not the findings please you. Dissatisfaction with what the chart says is not a defect in the work.
08 Working Session
A Working Session is two live video calls: roughly 30 minutes before delivery, and 60 minutes after. Times are agreed in writing.
- Reschedule freely with 24 hours notice or more.
- With less than 24 hours notice, or a no-show of more than 15 minutes, that call is treated as delivered.
- Sessions not scheduled within 90 days of the document being delivered expire.
09 Observation Day
An Observation Day is up to five on-site hours in one business day, at a date agreed in writing. A sealed field brief is delivered before the visit, and the full dossier follows within seven days.
If you cancel after a date is agreed

On site
You are responsible for lawful and safe access to your premises. I observe; I do not direct your staff, operate equipment, or conduct interviews framed as evaluations. If a site is unsafe or access is refused on the day, the visit is treated as cancelled with less than 7 days notice.
10 Confidentiality
What you tell me about your company stays with me. I will not disclose your materials, your data, or the fact of our engagement to anyone, and I will not use your company as a named example without your written permission.
The same runs the other way: your document is for internal use within your organisation. Do not publish it, resell it, or provide it to third parties as a service of your own.
11 What I keep, what you get
You receive a permanent, unlimited licence to use your document inside your organisation, for as long as you like. It is yours to keep, test, and hold against me.
The body-map framework, the method behind it, the reference structure, and all templates and materials remain mine. Buying a document does not transfer the method that produced it.
12 Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability arising out of or relating to any engagement is limited to the amount you actually paid for that engagement.
I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, business interruption, or the results of decisions you make. You accept that this allocation of risk is reflected in the fee.
13 If something goes wrong between us
Tell me first. Email kari@29degreeconsulting.com describing the problem, and I will respond within five business days and work in good faith to resolve it.
You agree to give me 30 days to resolve a dispute before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer. A chargeback filed without contacting me first is a breach of these terms.
14 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any action arising from them is brought in the state or federal courts serving St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, and both of us consent to that venue.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
15 Changes to these terms
These terms are versioned and dated. The version in effect on the day you pay is the version that governs your engagement, regardless of what is published here later. Prior versions are retained and available on request.
Accepting these terms at checkout, or submitting an intake form, constitutes agreement to them.
